Share your 100-word, before-after faith story

I came to know Jesus as my Savior in my late twenties. Raised in a denomination that demanded I keep “obligations,” I became disillusioned in my late teens. I stopped going to church, and led the life of doing what I pleased as long as it didn’t hurt anyone including myself. I met my husband who led a “clean” life and began attending a small Christian church where I discovered The Bible. While reading, I cried for the life I had led and cried with joy of the life to come. I learned what Jesus did for me and what He wanted of me.  I learned that God had been there the whole time I was running. Life isn’t always grand, happy, going my way but that’s okay.

I have a Savior who is available 24/7.  All I have to do is include Him in my every word, action and thought.  I don’t always, but I have come a long way and I pick myself up when I fall and I grab His hand and march on for I am in the Lord’s army.
