Adult Communities

An Adult Community is the next generation of the traditional Sunday School. Its purpose is to develop the traditional Sunday School into an embracing community that fosters fellowship, support, and an enjoyable environment in which to learn, grow and thrive.
Prairie Village Adult Communities are at 9:30 (Click here) and 11:00 (Click here). We also have an Adult community at 9:30 on our Blue Valley campus (Click here).
An Adult Community experience will bring you closer into the family of Hillcrest. Worship at one the three Sunday services and enrich your life within an Adult Community. Groups of five to 40 people gather together regularly during the 9:30 and 11 am Sunday services.
Please take a moment to review the many Adult Communities offered at Hillcrest. They are detailed in the left navigation. Advance sign up is not necessary. You are welcome to attend any of our communities on any Sunday morning. Contact the facilitator(s) noted for more information. We look forward to seeing you!
Prairie Village Adult Communities
9:30 Every Sunday
Hillcresters (rm. 203): Leave the hectic schedule and quest for success at the door. Slow down and listen to God as we study First and Second Corinthians. Adults of all ages are welcome.
Real Life (204): “Story Hour” – Connecting our personal stories with biblical narrative. Lots of discussion, testimony and life application. Adults of all ages are welcome.
Expositional Study (206): Takes a variety of books from the Bible, and studies them verse-by-verse. Adults of all ages are welcome.
Pilgrims Progressing (Chapel) Examines a variety of topics, providing the springboard to spiritual growth. Adults of all ages are welcome.

11:00 Every Sunday
Parents of Adult Children (203) Are you ready to make the challenging transition from parent to trusted friend? Join us as we try to navigate this difficult time together.
Marriage Matters (204) Encourages couples in their marriage relationship and their relationship with God through the study of His Word and fellowship with one another.All Married Couples are welcomed.
Veritas (205) Seeks to understand truth with a short lesson and small group discussion
Epic (Chapel) Discussion, worship, and community for young adults. Come check us out!
Parents of Adolescents (FH – West) Addresses the issues facing parents of teenagers. It is designed to better equip you to be an active mentor in your teenager’s faith.
Fellowship of Friends (Birch House) A discussion-based class which generally follows the topics covered that morning in the sermon, Adults of all ages are welcome.

Blue Valley: 10:30 every Sunday we gather for table discussions on topics ranging from the current sermon series to studies of contemporary issues. Get some coffee and a bagel then join us right after the worship service in the multi-purpose room.
