Sunday Mornings

Hillcrest offers a variety of programming and activities for children. Our ministries are geared to help parents develop a foundation of faith in centered on the love of Jesus Christ in their child.

If you are visiting for the first time, please check in at one of the Children’s Welcome Tables located just inside the lower level east entrances. You will register your child using our computerized check-in system, KidCheck.  Nametags with matching security codes are issued for parents and children.  If you’d like to pre-register your children online ahead of time, you can do that at go.kidcheck.com.  That will make your first time (and any following) visits run more smoothly!

Sunday Mornings at 9:30

Nurseries (Newborn to 2 years old)

Nurseries on the lower level are offered for both 9:30 and 11:00 services. Our four nursery rooms, staffed with loving volunteers, are divided according to age and/ or development. The room are: Sleepers, Creepers, Waddlers and Toddlers.

A nursery supervisor is stationed at the nursery desk to help parents check in their children. There is a private room within the nursery area reserved for nursing mothers.

Early Childhood (Age 2 to Kindergarten)

Children meet in classes on the lower level divided by birth dates. From youngest to oldest, these classes are: Bunnies, Elephants, Giraffes, Turtles, Hippos and Lions.

Children are taught using Gospel Light curriculum.

 

Sunday Mornings at 11:00

Nurseries (Birth to 2 year olds)

Early Childhood (2 year olds to pre-k)

Children meet on the lower level during this hour. Classes are grouped together at this hour (Bunnies and Elephants meet in room 131; Giraffes, Turtles and Hippos meet in room 146.) Kids are taught about Jesus through the Boz curriuculum.  To preview Boz, click here.
