Prayer Shawl Ministry

Do you love to knit or crochet?

Hillcrest Women’s Ministries and Congregational Care are partnering in this ministry! A prayer shawl is lovingly hand knit or crocheted out of soft, soothing yarn that is wrapped around the shoulders of someone who needs the comfort only the love of a caring friend can provide. But, the most important element of this ministry is prayer. Prayer begins in the heart, and in the hands the creation of a prayer shawl emerges from the skeins of yarn.

All knitters and crocheters are welcome!
